    Looks like Jack Whetton is still in Sydney, so don't think we'll see him playing for Auckland this year.

      I am eager to see whether promising youngsters like Evans, Grindlay, Beehre, Kneepkens, Maka and Paea will be among the players selected for the M10 squad. And Vikena, of course. They were outstanding during the SRA U20 earlier this year.

        @cgrant Kneepkins plays for Taranaki, and Grindley has moved there for this season.

                    With no TJ this season, who captains?

                    I'd probably go with Choat. Not many other options, unless Gibson is still with us, but I wouldn't select him as captain.

                      Choat was captain at least once last year

                      I would go for Choat as well. Maybe Plummer is an option too

                                          @antipodean thats very close to an under21's team. The future seems bright for AKL rugby, missng quite a few senior players though. good to see Funaki back
