In addition they received a massive payout from some outfit that brought a chunk of something to do with their Premiership a year or two back that was supposed to be the panacea to all the financial problems overzealous and overspending owners had indulged in.

And as a rugby man, I don't want these things happening to any clubs. There are reports some clubs in MLR are struggling a bit too.

- Incentivising tries scored from outside the opposition’s 22
- Reducing the amount of kick-tennis”
- Reducing the time wasted by reset scrums
- A sin-bin ‘Power Play’
The last point is of particular note – once a game the opposing team captain will be able to chose a player to spend 10 minutes in the sin bin. The captain can choose when to use this but will have the power to reduce their opponents to 14 men, without them being sent off by the ref. Quite the radical proposal!

If it was used as intended, it would most likely lead to more injuries and fouls.
If they're smart, they'll just only use if the other team do, and at the same time.
