I suspect, at best the decision makers have ignored the economics to be seen to be equitable. The alternative is that somehow the professional male teams need to raise enough money to cover the female teams too.
And it's not like rugby generally has truckloads of cash to be subsidising these ventures. Most unions are treading water.

Think it probably doesn't need it's own thread. Just got one eye on The 745 game, in aide of MND.
Was checking out the "laws" and it seems it's essentially league, however I can get my mind around the curiosity of an "uncontested lineout". The hell is the point of that?

The mechanics of it will be interesting - at least for the first one. After that I'm probably thinking yawn fest.
