Praise for this NZ side that is strong enough to have made six changes from Lord's and still mopped the floor with the home side. Alrighty. England brushed aside and it's all eyes on the big dance. Going to be so epic. Still can't quite come to terms with the fact that we are in the final of the first ever TEST championship.
We get to play fuck all tests overall, we have none of the resources of the big teams, and yet we've somehow put together a world class team sitting on top of the world.

Someone on Cricinfo just pointing out the long range forecast for Southampton is a bit dodgy.
I'm not too worried about Stead - because, barring injuries, I think ten of our XI are rock solid and to be honest I can see pluses and minuses for each of the four I think are in consideration for the eleventh place - Santner, CdG, Ajaz and Mitch Jr.
I think Santner is still the favourite though - and I can live with it.
