Started reading the replies. Great fun. (Sound like us when we couldn't win the RWC...).
Wanted to post a reply along the lines of "whst was that? Sorry can't hear you over the sound of NZ being the World Test Champions" but am not sure any random Indian would get read that much by the other random Indians.

It doesn’t take much. Just point out Don Bradmans average compared to Tendulkars. That’s all you need to do and then get some popcorn and watch the fun. @NTA loves a bit of Indian trolling.

He'd have a point if it wasn't for the fact we'd beaten both England & India in series before that one-off.
I'm sure his rebuttal would be that they were only 2-test series .... yeah, well whose faults that.
TBF though, I can't blame Aussies for treating the result with a bit of disdain given how much we shit the bed when we toured there last.

seriously, give us a proper warmup and a better selection policy and we may have been competitive.
