I think if, as @Kirwan noted, they'd got Messam on early, straight after DMac got sent off, then they probably would have won it, and not fallen apart for 30 minutes.

I wanted an Aussie team to win at some stage - I just wanted it to be against someone else.

It was effect on the other players that was needed. Stopped playing like headless chicken a once he came on

Great entertainment, kept me well and truly engaged despite the cards ..
Chiefs showed tremendous heart ,but I do wonder if they went to the bench far too late but also just a complete loss of composure when they down to 13 players ..really needed some smarter game management to which I was disappointed with the senior players Brad Webber especially..

I think that game showed that Chiefs rugby is also not in a very good place. Plenty of over-achievement this year but the coaches dont seem to have learned anything.
