Has anyone heard any signing rumours for next year? The Canes have been very quiet lately, I even messaged them to see when the squad was named last week and I had no response whatsoever.

I’ve even hit up my sources and they’ve said it’s all quiet.

No they won’t pick him up because we already have used our quota of 3 HB players in the squad (unless IWL doesn’t re sign)

@nepia It’s pretty congested already with PUJ Proctor, also Savea and Laursen playing their saying that if he does come hopefully he’ll push Laursen out of the squad.

Or he could come home to the Bay and convince his brother to do the same too. That would be my preference, I just assumed he hasn't signed with the Bay as that would screw with the quota.

I would like you to lose them all to the Chiefs, or failing that the Highlanders, or failing that the Blues, or failing that MP, I think I'd also rather they went to the Crusaders than the Canes. :astonished_face:

Laursen will most likely be pushed out by Riley Higgins next year anyway.
