@yeetyaah yay…another blue jersey…alternate jerseys are the real test now days

7 of the 12 (and maybe MP too) of the SRP teams have primarily blue jerseys

I thought that the Drua would go with a black and white combo to avoid jersey clashes.

This was one of their jerseys for the NRC.

Like anyone actually involved in sport makes those decisions, it’s all marketting and manufacturers. That’s why we get fed such goping shit like purple Irish, colour clashes defying any form of common sense, and a yearly minimum changes to the design.

Karpik has been forgotten already, as he was a full squad member. Injuries I assume.

It will be interesting to see which players end up training with the teams as part of the WTG. There are some handy players who missed out on a contract.

Waisaki Naholo didn't get picked up? I honestly though his reputation would have got him over the line

If you look at possible starting XVs and the number of current ABs that teams could have on the field then Crusaders edge the Chiefs in numbers and spread (especially outside backs) then gap to Blues and Canes with Highlanders very light.

Lots of second string ABs floating around that may lift their game to pressure the 'top' selections but what I will be interested most in is the non current ABs that aren't old discards but could add something.

                          Looking at players like

                          Hodgman
                          Darry
                          Robinson

                          Wrampling

Love (finally listed as a 10 I see)

                            @crucial

I think you can remove Darry from that list if the NPC was an accurate reflection of his ability. Still young, but didn't seem to stand out at all. Still, he may come right eventually.

Hopefully Sullivan sees some time at 10, TUJ remains uninjured, RTS gets up-to-speed quickly and Fakatava gets his dispensation.

When you look at who will be playing Super their really aren't too many players that will add to and surpass our current AB XV. Maybe there are props that will demand selection and hopefully Clarke comes back strong to replace Bridge

Waisaki Naholo didn't get picked up? I honestly though his reputation would have got him over the line

I thought the Landers said they were after him. He did sweet FA in the NPC this year tbf.

i missed that, yeah, a point was made he was coming down to play 15....

@Yeetyaah yeah, didn't see much of the canterbury games so wasn't sure but thought if he'd come through injury free whether we might have thought he could keep building

think i would have gone with Freedom>Naholo>Timu

Timu was starting to look good last year but think hes been overseas this year hasn't he

I don't know about his distribution or defence, but with his size and speed, he could be an absolute weapon at 13. He has always reminded me of Folau, but has never got it together and challenged for the next level.
