Meh, not too fussed, a win's a win and good to have a decent hitout before the Kangaroos.

We'll be much better next week.

It was a tough game and sure we didn’t do ourselves any favours at times, but am still pretty happy about getting the win from how we started.

Knockout WC finals do bring the drama.

    Bring on the Aussies.

Hopefully that was the game to focus the Kiwis after having three training runs previously. Also, hope it lulls the Aussies into a false sense of security.

Wow great match. Terrific by nz back 3 of Manu Rapana and Mulitalo. Edge of the seat stuff at last in this World Cup

yep without those three we struggled for any attacking impetus. A couple of good touches from Dylan Brown (cut out pases) putting both Ronaldo and Jordan in space, but not a great day out.

Take the win and move on I guess, but Fiji will be gutted they let us through, they played well

Not that anyone cares but this is my personal ratings:

          Nz:

          1. J Manu, 8.5, involved in everything, sparked most of their attack
          2. R Mulitalo, 7.0, a couple of great moments, but a few stupid mistakes as well
          3. P Hiku, 7.5, Solid. No mistakes, but nothing brilliant either
          4. C Nicoll-Klokstad, 6.5, Not involved a lot, couple of mistakes
          5. J Rapana, 7.5, kicked well, pissed a few people off like usual.
          6. D Brown, 5.5, not at his best
          7. J Hughes, 7, Hampered by an injury for most of the game. But stepped up when required.
          8. J Bromwich, 6.5, quiet but solid.
          9. B Smith, 6.5, Solid, wasn't able to realy cut though much
          10. J Fisher-Harris, 7, charged straight up with no fear like usual.
          11. K Bromwich, 6.5, Quiet.
          12. N Asofa-Solomona, 6.5, interesting position to start in. Not realy able to dominate

          15. K Foran, 7.5, helped get nz back into the game

Personally don't like our forward pack balance . Would bring NAS back into the front row and not give him as many minutes. Likewise would replace Jesse with Spencer Liu and I guess JWH is back into the rotation is in the mix as well after his enforced sit down. Perhaps Nikora starts in the back row.

I think a better balanced pack is required against Australia.

Yep, and two fantastic results (end result in NZ's case, not how they got there).

                Nice work Samoa!

The second half of that Tonga v Samoa match was enthralling stuff. Tonga had their chances but lack a bit of game breaking. Well done to Samoa for getting this far.

Man I’m nervous about our match against the Aussies. We will need to play out of our skins and out kicking game will have to be a thousand times better. But we do have a bit of fire power up front that if they bring their A game can trouble the Aussie forwards and make them move around.

Funnily enough even though our form has been scratchy I think we are capable of pulling a massive game out of our arses because it’s Australia .

But if that did happen and we managed to pull it off , I would be concerned about how we back up a week later .

That would be a kiwis thing to do , beat Australia and then lose to the poms .

our best prop rotation will shade theirs. Joey Manu would make the Aussie back line

I don't see where we have any other advantage.

We're going to have to play a kiwi test for the ages to win. Which would mean England pumping us in the final.

And if we somehow, some way, in some lunar eclipse world we do beat the Aussies, I wouldn’t really care what happened after that. Aussie halves are a massive concern for us because they both like to run and take on the line. At the very least we need to crowd them and pressure their kicking game so we don’t get camped in our half.

Anyone know if there's a difference between Wheelchair League and Union?

Here's some motivation for the Kiwis:

Fark me. And to think elements of the Pom press thnk NZ Rugby is arrogant.

                                      See there's a Wheelchair RLWC.

Anyone know if there's a difference between Wheelchair League and Union?

They allow head high shots in RLWC?

Not a bad first half by our women team vs the Aussies.

Impressed with our defence. Attack is a little hit and miss.
