I’m no expert but the ABs in that first half looked like a team who were trying too hard, most likely due to over-coaching, and not playing what is in front of them. Need to keep it simple, run straight, don’t push passes, back their set piece and make the tackles that need to be made. Not rocket science really.

For the second half I will be giving out the Chicken Little award. Canefan, Rancid, sparky have honourable mentions so far.

A lot of miracle passes wasn’t great, might need to have kicked more

I personally think we are trying too hard and did not play to the conditions. Go into the sheds talk about it and come back better.
Aussies got a fortuitous lineout win that put us under pressure. A couple of poor reads and they scored. Good try.
Discipline from both sides has been costly, but it should’ve been know that this ref loves the sound of his own whistle.
Voice of sanity.

@his-bobness yep go back to some basics, pick and goes, make some yards and draw in defenders before trying to really push wide and forward

Those long LO throws are high risk, high reward moments.
And the same could be said of the defending player making a similarly risky call to go for the intercept ball also. Mo’unga paid the price
