10-11 days on life support, wonder what the prognosis will be going forward. All the best to him on the recovery.

Had no idea that Cairns had settled in Canberra.

Well, when you hear someone say "He lives in Canberra now" that always is hard to get across.

Because nobody really lives in Canberra.

It’s great that he’s getting through that, young family and cricket hero (one of mine especially) etc etc.
Are the world media and social platforms gagged from mentioning the elephant in the room? Is he suddenly forgiven?

May or may not have cheated in IPL games…still just allegations…..I prefer to remember his awesome record for his country when assessing him.

Unfortunately for me. The first thing I think of with Chris Cairns now is this first over of a match for NZ in an ODI by his ICL team mate, upon return from his ICL ban and playing again for NZ.

I’m sure he ( along with a host of others ) got up to some dodgy shit during his IPL days but Smith and Warner blatantly cheated in a test match for their country. Do people still hold that against them or do they realise they are a couple of outstanding cricketers ? ( one of them especially )

If there was some bizarre rule change and they became eligible for NZ we’d welcome both with open arms ! ( actually Warner would have a fight on his hands to get past Latham and Conway but I digress )

    No, I'll never forgive him.

I don't care about the fixing in the rebel ICL, apart from it being a gateway.

It is what he allegedly did with his influence back with official NZ teams means that I will never forgive him. There is no official link to that Darryl Tuffey over.

Paying Lou (according to his testimony) to spot fix in the champions league. The biggest stage and potentially the biggest pay day for several NZ domestic Auckland provincial players and he is arranging for a team mate to deliberately get himself out. What an unforgivable prick.

The TV news stories I have seen have usually shown snippets of his UK court appearance. I never get tired to seeing that delivery to Chris Read though.

Smith and Warner cheated to win for their country. It was shit.

Others allegedly cheated to fix results for bookies. That is shit x shit wrapped in poo
