Keep changing my mind up about that one. Not deliberate, but still a slightly unco leap to lead with the sprigs like that.

A Highlanders player got done for something similar against the Tahs a few years ago.

It's a classic Billy Slater move.

You can talk about his mid air balance or whatever but he stuck his foot out at head height and that's that.

I'm arguing that the rule is dumb. Should he have just landed on his arse?

He still had one foot in good position to land. It looks bad that the other one extends, when it was also in good position to land, if you're arguing about balance.

You could really argue that trying to land with one foot out is worse for your balance.

ABs are so much better, this red card is going to keep the score within reasonable number, that's it

The landing foot only got into place because the other leg extended. Natural movement. Still unco, he fucked it up.

Why was Koribete attempting to tackle him in the air? You out yourself in harm's way of knees and feet when you do that.

SB, Akira and Weber made some good diving tackles in that Aussie attack.

My first half highlights have definitely been Laulala actually making an offload and Marshall busting out the ‘me oh my how much did we enjoy that’
