If Jordie wasn't a giraffe, that tackle on him could have been bad for Argentina
No arms in the tackle, but it goes completely unnoticed. It's so random what gets called up.

This is the worst I’ve seen an Argie attack for some years. It’s guys standing around, no flow, the halfback trying to ignite something and there’s nothing there. And that was at the 15 minute mark. Didn’t improve as the half went on as they were stuffed from all the tackling.

Argentina will be lucky to win a game based on 200 minutes of RC rugby this year.

The team is humming along nicely. Jacobsen and Aumua having strong games which just grows that depth even further.

@machpants Not too concerned tbh. We were a bit slow at times arriving to breakdowns and the odd silly penalty was given away which happens but other than that, we were fantastic.
For all the criticism our coaches get and yes, we're not the finished artice yet, they're doing more right than wrong so far.

The Northern Hemisphere style can get quite static. Wonder if Boks will have same issue? They will be better at dominating contact and breakdown though.

so if the loosies were better last week is that because of the opposition or missing Ardie at 8? Jacobson sounds like he is playing ok...

Best bit of the AB performance in the first half for me has been the leadership from the senior players.
Plenty of discussion and action when things haven't been going well and changes made.

Possibly due to BBBR with captain training wheels on...but otherwise he is playing well

@delicatessen he won the turnover penalty which was the reason the ABs had that lineout in the first place.

Aumua for a first test start is very impressive.
Not so keen on 2 lineout throws in their 22 being easily picked off...
