random Brad Weber update and his chances of making the RWC..
Fozzie was asked last night if Weber was going to the world cup.. obvious answer was no way could he respond..
but said that there was nothing more that he could have done this year to put his case forward to go to the world cup. Impressed with his attitude. said one thing holding him back previously was that he got 'a cloud over his head and focused too much on why he wasn't making the team', when he needed to just play his game. Had impressed with his fitness and his pass accuracy is much better (insinuation being that they had an issue with his pass...).
@WillieTheWaiter I hate to think what his pass accuracy was previously...

@Canes4life Christie is shit, so lucky for the canes that he's off. Was glad to be rid of him at the Chiefs. Good trade for TTT in the long run. Isn't Booth coming back? Maybe they'll pick him up again.

Look I know you're a Chiefs fan but it's a bit mean to wish Booth on the Canes.
@Chris I think I've written this in another thread once or twice but I don't think that BB is as far out in front of his competitors to risk a break from the ABs.

Yeah Would have to agree maybe age is catching up or burnt out a bit.

Even if he does, it will be 2022 won't it?
Not sure he would be the same player if he loses much of his pace.@Darren I think this is very relevant, if he's away from NZ for a decent chunk, get's slower, how much value will he add when he gets back? He's not DC who we've seen his game change well before BB's age now (look at his tries scoring rate over his career). So is it worth the canes going all out to get him for possibly 2 seasons hence (2022+)? I dunno, he'll still add value with all his experience, esp at SR level, but enough that you give up on other players?
