New Zealand have never beaten Australia in any knockout match. They have played each in 17 quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals, out of which Australia have won 16. The one that New Zealand won wasn't a knockout but the first of the best-of-five finals in 1981, a series that New Zealand eventually lost. Australia have won all the four knockout matches between them at ICC events.

Concerning. They don't fear us. They know they get the best of us when it matters. If we can topple them it will be a massive moment in our history.

Kiwis win toss, put Australia in, and chase down 175 with 3 balls and 4 wickets to spare.

What the fuck do I know? I've watched about half a dozen highlights packages....

Australia win the toss and are bowling. Williamson is a useless tosser. Hope he does better with the bat.

Really good length being bowled by the Aussies.

Not a great power play but only one wicket down. Williamson looking bogged down though and already showing signs of frustration with that last shot.

I back Kane to read the pitch like he did in the CWC. If he is struggling and seems content to just hang in there then it's probably the right call.

I'm thankful we have a skipper willing to play the long game and who doesn't think the final needs to be won in the first three balls of his innings.

Yeah, looks like they're happy to keep wickets in hand and launch a bit later. We will want 160 at least though I would think.

Finch has won 18 of last 22 T20 tosses for Australia. With that sort of luck he should be being lotto tickets.

And still not the luckiest Australian skipper currently.

It frees the balance of the order to play their natural game now - you don't have Seifert or Phillips in two minds having to nurse the innings through but also keep the run rate going. We can pretty much go full speed in an over or two.

Aussie should have kept some spin up their sleeves for toward the end.

We've sucked up three overs of Hazelwood and Kane is at the wicket and established. Line ball at the point with 9 wickets in hand IMO.
