watched a bit of it - Pakistan very relaxed about Stoinis just hammering deep leg side 2s all the time. Low risk, easy runs.

My initial reaction is not so much the embarrassment factor... it's that the win predictor for Monday 3am just shifted significantly... dammit!!

@act-crusader Absolutely amazing from the Aussies…they looked down and out at 96-5…chasing 176 with 8 overs to go ,Stoinis was very good ,40 off 31 balls,Wade amazing 40 off 17 balls …first time Pakistan have been beaten in 18 T20 games at home .
I really thought with Alfridi having a couple of overs up his sleeve he would be vital in terms of knocking over the tail , however did not count on Stoinis & Wade. -

There are good enough NZ cricketers to replace him and mean it's not all over, but they're not in the squad.
Dumb initial squad will surely bite us now.
The playing group in UAE managed to cover the selectors back home's muddled thinking initially with the Mitchell opening hail mary, and it has worked. Can they get a decent number 4 or 5 out of Chapman or Seiffert?
Seiffert to 5, and promote Phillips up one place to 4.
Better options: either Allen or Munro opening with Mitchell in middle order, or Latham straight swap. Admittedly, I wouldn't have considered Latham until that Bangla series.
