Evacuated in WWII apparently - just read her wiki. Had a far more interesting life than most people would imagine. Rescued her daughter from Charles Manson's clutches apparently.

Yeah bit of an awkward one. His music ( to me ) was never good enough to make me forget that he was essentially a creepy paedo to be honest.
Sounded like a very unlikeable arsehole too.
