Novak pulls out injured and crowd boos.. that's pretty low from Melbourne

Those tickets aren't cheap. I'd be pretty pissed off too if I all I got was one set.

It's a shame Djok didn't do this in the quarter - Alcaraz would have been fun to watch

Someone recently won a round in a GS then pulled out and didn't even start the next match. It was Rafa wasn't it? CF Sr went to an AO final years ago and Stefan Edberg pulled out after a set or two. That's the risk.. I do think there should be a lucky loser rule if the player can't start the match

29 years old, first GS final in about 8 years, beat world #2 and #1, a Keys win would be an amazing story. She looks very calm

What a quality match. Both ladies played awesome, Keys got it done deep in the third. Her first GS title 8 years after her last final. Took out the world # 10, 5, 2 and 1 players in the world. All this after changing her racquet brand and retooling her serve last month. What a Cinderella story

There has been so much quality tennis at this year's AO. Just watched the mens doubles final on delay, two very tight sets before the British/ Finnish pair raised their game to take the title in a dramatic final set

Djok is hated on for more than his opinions.

Yeah, he doesn't help himself. Not a fan at all.

No one can say Keys didn't deserve it after beating the two favourites.

She beat the #10, 5, 2 and 1 on her way to the title. Apparently no woman has beaten the 1 and 2 seeds in a GS since Jana Novotna (?) in like 2007. I'm happy for her, this might have been her last chance to win one, sounds like she suffered many therapy sessions to undo all the scar tissue from her last finals loss. Sabalenka will be back

Jannik Sinner looks to be cruising to another AO title. Just superior in almost every department

I haven't seen all of Zverev's games but that's because apart from his serve I just don't enjoy watching him play. Sinner though, is a far more complete player even if he looks like a stretched matchstick.

For me, Zverev is too conservative. He stands too deep, doesn't hit as flat hard or as deep as Sinner. IMHO Shelton worried Sinner more, but suffered from a lack of discipline.

He needs to.take a leaf out of Madison Keys' book, make some serious changes to improve the weaker parts of his game
