So, will they split the points? Hawke's Bay would probably have beaten Ta$man if this game had been played.

I don't think it will really affect the Championship table, as Northland is very likely to beat Taranaki and Otago will no doubt beat North Harbour. Hawke's Bay should stay second and Ta$man should stay 4th.

@Stargazer Ta$man is a joint effort between the combined Marlborough and Nelson Bays outfits so the simple answer is to transfer the game to Blenheim.

@Higgins Last Sunday, there were huge travel disruptions to Blenheim. That's why the games of both the Ta$man men's and women's team were delayed. I doubt they want a repeat of that.

@Bovidae good to see Reese Anderson named on the bench. I thought her injury last week looked bad.

OK, I never saw the game as it was played at the same time as Northland vs Waikato.

The game against Auckland is free entry.

This weather has me beaten. Unless I have a late change of mind I doubt I'll be heading to Porirua today. It's pretty atrocious out there.

@Crucial And in the meantime it's really warm (20.2degrees) and partly cloudy in Napier this morning. Shame the FPC HB v Ta$man was scheduled as a Ta$man home game as absolutely no danger of any wet underfoot conditions in my neck of the woods today (and for every singe Saturday of the rugby season if my memory serves me well).

Just a pity we can't usually say the same when it comes to scheduling major cricket matches here!

As suggested before last round the Wellington win against BOP has them running toward a semi spot. Canterbury and Waikato have spots 1 and 2 locked in. Auckland look to have a semi spot as they will need an upset from either CM or BOP to overtake them.

Wellington (11) play an Auckland that have been weak without their stars. A win sees them in 3rd, any loss sees them looking over their shoulder and waiting until Sunday afternoon.
Any Auckland (13) win obviously locks their 3rd spot, a BP loss has them vulnerable to a CM BP win or any BOP win. A non BP loss can be beaten by any CM or BOP win.
CM (10) play a Waikato that have been good without their BFs. A CM win would overhaul any Wellington loss but if they need to get past Auckland they would need a BP win should Auckland get a BP.
BOP (10) have to play the class above in Canterbury. A win will put them in the mix again but they would hope that Wellington and CM dont as Auckland is their only RR victim in the group and they need them exposed.
I haven't heard yet of any non travelling BFs that are back at their provinces.

All of BOPs BFs have been named in the 23. Haven't looked at the rest.

The article doesn't say, but surely Montessa Tairakena is injured not just replaced.

@Bovidae it is last chance to give some players a run so probably just a rest. 2nd place is locked in with no chance of first so a dead game for them.

It could be that but she has played less than Paraone on the other wing.

Wellington need to fire their Captain, dumbest decision I've seen in a game for a long time. Not taking the three directly in front of the post when 6 ahead, ten to go

Auckland sneak the win in a nailbiter. 26-25

last semi spot still open. Wellington rest on 12. CM rest on 10. BOP ave a chance but it has to be a win against Canterbury
