@ploughboy Gatland still has 1 year left on his contract. Trask was rumoured to sign a long-term (5-yr) contract so would still have a year or two left. Reihana might be coming off-contract so might be the most at risk. If DMac is going to play 1st 5 there is little point in signing Ioane.
As for wingers, Lam and Rayasi would be at the top of my list for non-regular starters.
I mentioned him earlier in this thread but I would be looking at Taniela Filimone. He's young and has some size and speed, and covers centre and wing. Ex-RBHS and Chiefs age-group now playing in Manawatu. He was also in the Chiefs WTG so the coaches know him.

@Bovidae I don’t think Rayasi will move, he mostly locked down that 11 jersey for the Canes by seasons end and will be looking to push on next year. You guys can have Julian Savea though.
@Canes4life I don't think either will move. It was a wish list.

There is a guy who works at my kids school who apparently played for the Chiefs the only info I have is his first name is Noumey or nomey not 100% but it’s doing my head in can anyone help me. -

Working in Wellington? I had a quick look at the 2021 Chiefs Dev team that played, and the replacement players named for this season, and there was no one who it could have been.

@mikey07 It could be a WTG player from earlier seasons but we'd need some more info (e.g., province he played for) to make an educated guess. I'm curious myself now.
