My son scored a pair of boots like that when the Tongan league team beat the kiwis in Hamilton. At nearly 15 he might finally be able to fit them soon.

The SM photos showed that Moli, Proffit, Thompson, Parker and Tahuriorangi were also in Australia. Adam Lennox might get a call up to provide halfback cover for Weber for the Force game. MSR should be involved again, and maybe some of the WTG players.

I see that Gideon Wrampling is playing club rugby tomorrow. He was also meant to play last week but the opposition defaulted.

Without going into details Wrampling has had some very serious injuries for someone so early in his pro rugby career.

This article and the photo on the Chiefs' SM confirm that Reihana had a long-term knee injury.

@Bovidae The article also mentions that defense coach Hill is going to the World Cup as part of AB's coaching staff, could they expand his role & lend some of his defensive expertise to assist McLeod? They could even do a swap of roles and have Scott McLeod as the skills coach instead. Please?

Odd he'd be going now, unless Scott has reached out and asked for help haha

@taniwharugby The funny thing is a few on here thought it was unusual for Razor to appoint 4 assistants, when Foster initially appointed 5 (Plumtree, McLeod, Mooar, Feek, Hill) which extended to 6 when Strawbridge was brought in at the start of 2022.

I don't think it was the number of assistants that people were querying - it was the crossover of roles between Leon and Holland. It felt they were 2 coaches with very similar briefs/backrounds.

Hill has been part of the AB coaching group for a few years now, as the kicking coach. He also went to Japan in 2019.

This article mentions all of the injuries Moli has had.

The gruesome quad haematoma in 2018 – an injury so bad it’s usually a result of car accidents and can end up in amputation – kicked off his luckless run.

After fighting back from an elbow issue in 2019, there was then surgery on each of his hips the following two years due to impingement.
