A heavy TA Sports influence in that team, as they have the same coach.

@Bovidae Yeah, TA recruited heavily in the school leaver space over the last couple of years so I guess its a reflection of that

And they play for the seniors, not the U21s.

It will be interesting to see how this team goes. There are 5 players from last year's NZ Schools and 3 from the Barbarians U18s in the 23.

@Bovidae A couple of boys from Kelston in there.

Senita Lauaki following in the footsteps of Sione.

@Dice I remember watching him play for Kelston. Who is the other one?

Jole Naufahu went to AGS and Maikel Tuala Kings.

@Bovidae Dominic Gagaeolo is the other one. A very athletic lock/loosie.

Gagaeolo wasn't in the original squad, so a new name for me.

Waikato Women Juniors 32-21 Bay of Plenty Development
Waikato Men Juniors (U19s) 12-13 Counties Manukau U19s

The U19 game would be an upset based on the 1st round results.

I will probably go to this game. A couple of players return after not playing last Sat but Blaikie is the third-choice 1st 5. I am sure Cashmore will be playing for BOP.
