Me too, despite the fact the idiots at RA can't even compile a survey on Surveymonkey properly.

Hearing an interesting scoop that NZ Super teams will be able to sort their own kit suppliers for the upcoming season and beyond as the Adidas deal is about to expire. All Blacks will remain with Adidas however.

@antipodean yeah I can really say I've got a full grasp on understanding celebrating women in rugby...in the men's team.

@TheMojoman is he a fluffybunny because he says things Australian fans want to hear and NZ fans don't?
NZRU are impressively arrogant - even in how they are running the All Blacks into the ground. I'd say they are the bigger fluffybunnies.
@Derpus hypothetically imagine the reaction in Australia for a second if Australia were hosting an all-Aussie Super Final and the week of the final Robinson had come out and said he wants to can Super Rugby Pacific. It was a dick move.
I have no love for Robinson. They are both fluffybunnies.
Sadly nothing beats the utter cuntery and wankness of NZR's SR declaration - in public with no consultation. Bye SA, Bye Arg, and maybe we'll let 2 Oz teams in if you beg and we think you are good enough. Most def the worst bit of sport based arrogance and bumfuckery ever. Made me embarassed to be a kiwi

Don't forget that time they told RWC2003 organisers to fuck off when it came to clean stadia and catering deals.
"A dingo stole my World Cup" was the line at the time?

I think RA's position is laughable given the debts they've got - again through complete mismanagement and treating the sport like a set of KPIs instead of getting out on the ground and looking at the health of the game.
But they will ride that pony because if we keep sucking at the teat of NZR nobody will invest in us. The issue at lower levels: they're held prisoner by utter amateurs like Sydney Rugby Union who refuse to get into any form of national competition except on their own terms.

At least he is honest and outright coming out it is about getting our money. If Sky split the value of SR comp from internationals, they can have half of that, cos 95% of the value will be tests.

Some interesting concepts being talked about for Super Rugby
A Super Rugby conference in Auckland has produced a number of ideas to be considered for 2024 and beyond
A player draft is being mooted by Rugby Australia and could become a televised event but it’s unlikely to be actioned by 2024
Australian teams were aligned in wanting a reduced role for the TMO and fewer stoppages
Rugby Australia is pushing for a 60-second scrum clock -

Rugby Australia is pushing for a 60-second scrum clockThe draft is an interesting idea... it may even the playing field, but kinda removes a bit of the tribalism/ regionalism from it.
I mean like does anyone want the likes of mcCaw having played for the Canes? Or Fitzy playing for the landers....
The other two ideas I like tho...

@Mackerzzzz a draft would require team to have more than 1 or 2 spots open at the end of the NPC season, assuming thats where you draft from.
Or you have an U21 Super comp, and super teams draft from there, but most of the good ones are already snapped up before they are 21 anyway.
Honestly dont see there being enough $$$ in the game for drafts.
Happy to reduce scrum stoppages, and less TMO intervention.
