    Geez, that was hard to watch. They're not going to win the final, if they play like this again.

    That was a really stupid kick off. Why not do exactly what Ireland did and put it behind then chase? Why try and drop it on the 10. Low percentage play

    The more I watch, the more we appear to be trying to tire other teams out with brawn and fitness.

    That last attack just kept going and going, despite what appeared to be several easy chances to get over - Ireland must have been absolutely exhausted at the end.

    I'll take it though

    Yup, it sure makes it a LOT harder for teams to look to strike back, especially towards the end of the game.

    Not really surprising, but the women's Final will be between NZ and Australia.

    In the mean time, the World Rugby website is now also blocking my VPN, so I'm glad someone is streaming it live on YT.

    And now my livestream has gone. I guess I'll now have to listen to the audio stream.

    BFs made too many mistakes, Aussie women deserved winners.

    Same deal for the men. Fiji too good.

    Can someone explain why, after that first Fiji YC, play didn’t restart with a penalty?

    This ref pulled decisions out of his arse all game (both ways) but couldn’t judge an obvious high shot right in front of him without multiple replays.

    Same again for the men, beat ourselves mostly. It's a decent Fiji team but not a patch on past teams and we could have taken them. No idea why Nicole didn't start. Just a flaccid attack and awful tackling.

    Two high shots! Not including the tip tackle. Fucking WR again trying to promote unknowns beyond their ability to be clever.

    Just watched the women's final. The BF7s should have won that final and would have, if:

    • Niall Williams wouldn't have been so stupid to throw the ball away after Australia was awarded a penalty. During the two minutes she was in the bin, Australia scored two tries;
    • our kickers know how to kick. Risi Pouri Lane missed two kickable kicks and especially the last one by Tenika Williams was an easy one she missed. I suspect that goal kicking doesn't get enough attention during training. Why?

    The Aussie women won by two points only. Not the most convincing win I've seen.
