it was spastically hot here this weekend, so i floated around the pool drinking beer and watching the races. So i punted. Half-heartedly i will admit, but it still resulted in me giving money to bookies.
Had Causway Girl held on it would have been a completely different story. Should have each-wayed...
Had a mate messaging me his winning tickets after the fact from Brisbane on Saturday. Trifecta, first four, and another winner at odds. Fuck you!! tips mother fucker!!

I hate that. We have a 'friend' who always texts us after the fact. He punts really big and you hear about it when he wins. It's tedious as we all know he takes a hammering from the TAB

god i am in a slump. One winner all weekend, and that only paid $4. A couple last weekend. But my accounts are starting to take a beating.

Whether he'll get enough game time is a significant question, but he was eighth on the table last year from just 8 games.

Yeah - if he gets plenty of gametime he's a much better chance than that money suggests. Needs one of several scenarios to unfold where he gets the Crusaders 15 jersey early in the season.

Anyone else smashing these tennis promos for the Aus Open?
Bet easy have chase the ace where you get between 50cents and $10 in bonus bets per ace on selected games (3 per day). Just need a $20 head to head bet to qualify. Played a few so far and have about $180 in bonus bets from that. The spin wheel doesnt work for nz customers so need to live chat but they've agreed with me (and a few other mates) that we get $2 per ace for player you backed to win which is great as something like 95% of the spins are supposed to result of either 50cents of $1.
Then NZ tab have one at which requires a set betting (ie match result 3-0 , 3-2 etc) and its $1 per ace for your player. I smashed this one yesterday and while only breakeven $ wise on the bets I am about $300 up now on bonus bets.
Avoid the ladies games of course.

Ricky Baker ran a horrid race yesterday and Trainer rang this morning saying that he thought Ricky was going to win for fun before the race. Anyway that was the last ride on Ricky or Solomon for that jockey. Too many rubbish decisions.

Good call, with three meetings on. Riccarton Race 3.
A really ropey tip for today is Race 2 at Addington. BJ Lindenny. Came back a bit pretty for his first start and battled away for 7th but has had a trial since and that went really well.
He'll be much better for all that and I think it's a standing start which he has manners for. Draw not great but can overcome.
