Boomsara so good to win that race from the wide draw. All my mates were on outback barbie and warned them boomsara would have the speed to come across and dictate. Perfectly ridden!

Best was race 2. Met the owner of this horse he was a good bloke so I stuck $5 on his roughie. It fucking won at $92!!
Ha ha!!! That is awesome! I saw that race and was gobsmacked. Paid $99.80 here but not sure what it was going for fixed? Likely $150

Mate he didn't tip it or anything. He was just stoked to have a horse racing on a big day (down from Toowoomba) so I thought "fuck it" and jumped on expecting nothing. Best winner ever.
Should have loaded up...

I was up in Auckland for yearling sales over weekend and had dinner in town at the table next to him.
It's fair to say he looked in good spirits (Him and Peter Moody). I thought he was still at the sales? I wonder if he was arrested returning or on the actual property

Yeah I thought he was still at the sales but they said 3 were arrested and it indicated he was one of them (the 48 year old). Seized a gun and a tazer too

So Darren Weir quetly accepts a 4-year suspension. For how quickly it happened, and how little fuss was made, i can't help but think there was more that was left out of the public eye.
The conspiracy theorist in me looks at a 2nd country trainer who got too big for his boots being rubbed out...

And didnt happen that quicky to be honest. They've been on to him for a while and it was leaked in Dec that he was about to be busted. I was suprised they didnt hit him up then but waited a month or so later

Ha, I was quietly thinking the same. I'm kind of gutted for him but he ponied up and is taking his medicine. He's not the devil when it comes to racing frauds/dodginess.
Solsy Molsy running in the last at Te Rapa on Sunday. He is in great nick and is @$35/$7.
Biggest concern is stepping up to 1400 after a long gap between runs. Either way he will improve from the run for his next up at Matamata Breeders Stakes day.
