    Crazy fucking day.

    Winx was awesome as ever.

And will only get better from here!!!

I didnt see alot of the races as was at a food and wine festival thing but only winners I had were Amphrite and In Her Time and only followed them as have mates with shares in then and both were expected to run very well. In Her Time is in her final campaign. Two more runs to go.

Ol' mate Ben Currie seems to be in further bother.

Meanwhile, I've jumped in on the Own The Moment Syndicate with harness racing trainer Kirk Larsen - he's buying at the sales today and later this week, so hopefully he can get us something with half-decent breeding for a cheap, cheap price.

Is he the dude from Toowoomba who trained my big winner of Golden Slipper day?

The more i am hearing about Weir, the worse it seems.

That's the fella. And yep, seems like we're far from at the end of the Weir saga.

That mr Macau won again in Brisbane on the weekend, he must still be keeping the doses up.

Iโ€™ve done the same this year.... itโ€™s great fun. Have taken the wife out a couple of times to meet the 3 horses we own a very small share in. It surprised me how friendly they are, and how accessible the trainers etc are for my stupid questions. They pretty much said we are welcome at the stables any time, just call and let them know when we are coming.

@SammyC that's great. Me and a small bunch of mates are going in together. Doing it for a bit of fun, and as i am at the track most meets anyway, be nice to have something to follow.

SammyC What are your horses? Standardbred or Thoroughbred?

I know Mariner is going into a Thoroughbred. Have you purchased yet?

We have Solomon running today at Hastings. He is there for match fitness more than anything else as he is 8 weeks between runs due to small hiccups.

Polly Grey Will be racing again soon and Sussex has her first jump-out on Friday which I am looking forward to as she appears to be a nice enough Tavistock 3 year old.

Well we had our first option come through just now (way cheaper than that one i was hawking to you while a bit pissed), so the hunt is on! I'm pretty pumped to be honest

Harness Racing Mate ๐Ÿ™‚ you probably look down on that kind of stuff in the North Island (and justifiably so).

I'm well aware of how rigged it is, but it's not a huge amount of money, and it's just a bit of fun for me.

Our horses are 2 year olds at the moment, so not racing yet. That should happen next season.

                                          That's awesome news.

That should happen next season.

oooh that is exciting! Will this thing even fucking run?
