Going throught the results, I see there have already been three upsets:

Argentina lost to GB: 5 - 7
Australia lost to Kenya: 7 - 12
and - as mentioned - South Africa lost to Uruguay: 5 - 10

Laidlaw started a quicker, more youthful, but inexperienced team. I assume that was due to the conditions, which are a lottery. Ironically, coming second in the group looks to be an advantage (GB vs Arg).

Well the first part of that prediction proved 100% spot on but sadly Uruguay played like a soggy gingernut and somehow lost to the almost never winning Canadian side to let the Saffa's flounder through on points differential.
