Very disappointed they benched Solo and started with Leo. Benched Carter early too and Rokolisoa on a bit late. Leo can run but lacks the other skills and it is costly. Collier looked a bit slow too. This time spreading the matches and combos around cost them. But not much in it.

It was a tight final but Hirini was huge, and saved Miller's Minties moment. Both teams made early handling errors - nerves.

The men won the remainder of their games and finished 5th after beating the USA 50 to 7. While 5th place is disappointing, they only lost one game during the tournament.

Australia won bronze after defeating Ireland 20 - 5.

Yes, I think so.

If the ball had spilled forward because the tackler ripped the carrier's arms away, then no. But that was a deliberate punch forward.
