The most interesting part of the whole peptide saga for me is the comparison between Cronulla and Essendon who were heading down a similar path.

Cronulla pleaded guilty accepted their small slap on the wrist punishment, and look where they are now .

Essendon were offered a similar out clause , and they refused , taking some moral high ground to clear their names , look where they ended up.
