Interestingly before his hammy went in pre season, the halves were TMM and Metcalf, SJ considered potentially as back up ( and we were even speculating retirement if he didn't find form). If SJ is playing with a niggle, would be tempted to rest him before finals if it meant bringing TMM back in leaving Metcalf in the 17.
Im not so keen on dropping a young half this close to finals, especially since we are not losing but I want to see TMM play for sure and we need better decisions from the left.

well right now, we are winning and there isn't anyone better? and TMM likely round 26 so it doesn't matter for now anyway.
I haven't seen nearly the same hype articles you must have to be so wound up by this though lol

If TMM is not back until rd 26 then yeah, it doesn't matter anyway.
More so spending time on leaguie forums with Warriors fans than the media. My slim patience gets tested by those hype machines (not just for Metcalf, but in general).

@bayimports Te Whare is still early so I'll reserve judgement for now, but yes, if he's at the same stage this time next year, then he'll definitely be up there in my books. He's like another Konrad Hurrell currently.

They are sacking Sheens from not only his coaching role, but the GM role they gave him.
in the words of Michael Ennis, fuck moiHire a guy you sacked to a GM role. Let him sack the coach and hire the new one. Let him put himself in as coach (after not holding a role for more than a decade). Then sack him from both roles inside 12 months. And before the end of the fucking season
