19th August, boys (2) isn't a BOP Final. Tauranga BC is the BOP final winner. It's a Chiefs semi-final.
19th August, girls isn't a Waikato Final, it's a Chiefs semi-final.

The winner of the 1A will need to play 3 games in a week - a disadvantage.

@Stargazer yep 100%.... the could have started earlier.... and Auckland 1A winner lost to Westlake last year, not sure if that changes who has to play who the following year.

I see that the 1A final will be played at a neutral venue (Waitemata Rugby Club). With Eden Park unavailable due to FIFA rules St Kent's were probably wanting to play the final at home.

I asked the same question myself, and no one knew the answer. Hamilton BHS had to go to Tauranga last year for the same game, and played there in the Super 8 RR too.

It appears that there is no Blues SF on Wed so it's Westlake vs Sacred Heart to decide who goes to the Top 4.
