Black Caps v England

What an amazing match.
All time Black Cap win.
What an amazing turnaround from halfway through the test - let alone from test 1.

Itās like it was a completely different set of players from the non-Tom Blundell ones who didnāt front at Bay Oval. Or even from the first innings at the Basin!

Will be interesting to see if it hardens views against the follow on once more, but I think England had little choice given potential bad weather this summer and Bazball.

4th win after following on, second by a run.
Who's your man of the match? Kane for holding together the second innings? Southee for some key wickets and first innings hit out? Wagner for dragging us across the line? Brook or Root for their batting?

You'd have to go Root. 2 x tons.

Root scored more runs, albeit in a losing effort. I'm sure Root is happy to pass on that award

I think I heard on the radio KW got it.
Root deserved it though.

I think it's got to be Williamson. Critical runs, huge partnerships - really made a difference.
Never seen so many edges fall safely, it's been amazing.

well he did get it, so chocolate fish for you! Probably the only thing left you haven't tried to cook/bake

Gotta feel for Jimmy Anderson. Must be so painful to be the last man out in a one run loss.
-
Brook player of series, probably lucky he was runout without facing this morning (from a NZ perspective)

Yeah what a funny test from that perspective. Two stupid avoidable run outsā¦ā¦.( well, I guess all run outs are avoidable )

Havenāt had a chance to comment until now but WHOOP WHOOP. Talk about hanging on in there.
Wagner you hero.

So Bazball is not the answer now?
But Undercover Agent Bazball worked a treatā¦
A 5th day bowling spell for the ages. A chase that had they scored 2 more runs wouldāve been equally impressive given the conditions and the quality of some of the spells.
Glad the test started after 2 and a half days!

So Mrs Boo does the booboo. Wrote them off at 8 down with none to get. Changed the channel and missed it.

Well you know if anyone gets bored and needs a laugh, just go back over the comments and read some of them, BCs can't win, they useless get rid of most of them, and then see the end!!
That is no way a dig at anyone, just it's a good read, we all are experts (and I mean ALL) until we are not.
C'mon a great day for test cricket and cricket in the country, we all get a chance to believe again!!! That is just amazing, and one last question how bloody boring is test cricket??? -

But yeah, test cricket is the best by far

That was a pretty cool test. I thought we were done for when Southee left his return so late. Still reckon that decision was crazy.
I think this team could do a lot better with an attitude that is 50% more attacking. We donāt have the crew to go full bazball. But this made me h..h..h..h..happy.
