You are correct they didn't do anything, but over 120 minutes there were the far superior team.

They won the possession and territory match

But as we all know that means fuck all

Think England were far more prepared for a penalty shootout too

I'd have swapped the order of the Nigerian takers and put money in the bank early

And shots (20-12), which is usually much more important than possession & territory.

Fair enough but the crossbar notwithstanding and a couple of great saves, they were wayward or ineffectual shots
