Coaching the wobs might not be the paradise Eddie thought it would be.

Most of what he said made sense

Contrary to most of what I have read, I think McCleod is a good chance for the World Cup Squad. I think a hard running 12 is now central to most of how we want to play. He is the only option at 12 outside of Jordie that can perform that role.

Plus it was to Christy Doran - who doesn't know anything about rugby

What people have omitted about Foster's current run of wins is that it is on the back of a remarkable period with almost no injuries.
The few injuries we have had have been forwards, where we do have a bit of depth.
An injury to Aaron Smith would be crucial. I suppose he might start Roigard, but Foster has rarely shown such courage.
Mo'unga too, given that I think he would move Beauden Barrett back to #10.
I like ALB, but he won't be the man we need to replace Jordie Barrett.
With Beauden Barrett at fullback, we need to have Mark Telea and WIll Jordan playing.
That's a lot of guys to keep fully fit for a stretch of six big matches.

I wouldāve thought if mounga goes down , dmac starts and everything else stays the same

@mariner4life well, the luck of the Irish forced the coaching changes (so yeah, luck wrong word there) but this helped with the forward play, while injury to Havili (unlucky for him) forced the positional switch of JB, alkong with some other injuries, so those have assisted with getting the peices of the puzzle to fit.
I mean what happened last year or so with the coaches was pretty unprecedented for the ABs, so I dont think you could put what happened into a plan that was ever divised by anyone, so yeah luck is the wrong word, but some decisions were made, that were not of Fosters doing or part of any plan.
I still maintain some of the play last year v the Irish was up there as some of the worst I have seen from the ABs, but that is just my opinion.
The thing with Havili he only came into the squad when Goodhue and ALB got injured so he was never a first choice. Circumstance bought that on too.
Iāve said it before and Iāll say it again in true TSF broken record form, Jordie was the best fullback in the team so it was only natural that they played him there. Even more so when DMac went offshore.

He was superb against less physical opposition - really shone; some great distribution, etc. But disappeared as the level went up. The issue with RM at 10 is that he's weak defensively, and not that big - so if you don't have a decent size 12 your 9/10/12 axis looks tempting to run at, and doesn't have many tackle breakers in there.
RM brings a lot, but carrying into contact and defence is not up there.

The Channel 9 commentators are really pulling out all the stops when it comes to strategic insight. The Wallabies "need to really have a go".
It's like a DunningāKruger congregation.Apparently, they also need physicality. And the All Blacks want to do the same thing.
If you have any feasible alternative to Ch 9 commentary best to switch asap.
I'm going to leave it on because it is going to move me to drink. -

Our bench doesn't strike me as a firepower bench that could really turn things round if the game was going badly.

Ennor starting AB. I just haven't seen it. Hope he proves me wrong.

Stevenson looks nervous, not necessarily in a bad way but you can see the nervous energy
