    Good effort Scotland

Yes, but if I was a Frenchie I would be fuming at BOK.
Second game today where the away team blew a big lead at half time.

Entertaining game, but fuck me that commentary was shit.

    Biased as fuck and inaccurate.

I had prime Comms to start and premier sports Comms to finish, so missed that. Unusual for Cotter to be bad.

They're french, I'm not convinced they'd give deux merde about losing a "summer series" match to someone they'd never lose to in a WC.

Didn't have Cotter sadly on my feed.

@Victor-Meldrew these games just became even weirder being dual broadcast on sky and prime.

Game of two halves. France B looked well drilled in the first half.

Kinghorn is a real force now so Hogg won't be missed too much.
Typically Scots errors in last 5 made it a real nail biter.
    New French backs have potency.

Dunno, Hogg was a once in a generation player, especially by Scottish standards. I hope you’re right !

Take it as you find it

“Here’s a belter for you about Stuart Hogg ex Scotland Rugby star……..

So….it was nothing to do with his body or injuries. Nothing at all. He effectively got sacked.

He asked Townsend for a day off after the first block of World Cup training. He wanted to go back to Hawick to go to some huge local event they have there. GT allowed him to go. Anyway, Hoggy goes there as the big man and gets hammered drunk….ends up behind the beer tent with a local 18 year old girl!! Obviously, gets caught and shit hits the fan. He gets kicked out of the event and ends up at his parent’s house in Hawick. The news quickly travels to his wife, who still has family and friends in Hawick. The wife (who is in Exeter at this point) goes ballistic and her family go round to Hogg’s family and start kicking off!!

Anyway, the wife has kicked him out and he’s now a total disgrace. Toonie and the SRU then get wind of it and they call him in. It’s happened too many times with him and they want him out of the Scotland training camp. Due to length of service etc, SRU have allowed Hogg to cover it up as his “body has given up” and announces his retirement. In reality, he’s messed up again and he’s got the boot.
    What a fool!!
Apparently he’s a very unpopular member of the squad and he’s lost the respect of everyone.”

I went to bed after hearing the commentator wank on about how the French player should've received a card.

I can’t be bothered looking for the link but I thought it was because the body had crapped out, he’s now the slowest outside back in the squad etc.

Then again, no matter how good a player is ( and he was amongst the best of the best ) there’s only so much tomfoolery they can put up with ?

Here I was thinking Finn Russell was the talented but troubled member of the Scots team…..

I've heard a very similar story about Hogg's 'retirement' for what it's worth.
