RWC Week 4: Japan v Samoa

Ben lam has had a horror of a match. That will go to red.
 -

so this should stay YC too?..... as player dropped in to it.... i genuinely don't know what to expect... (its RC for me as no need to be that high at all)

Christ when are they going to learn
Really enjoying the match
Think Samoa’s chance May have gone
 -

If Japan had played like this against England they would have beaten them

Has now

Have they forgotten to check for HIAs now
 -

The inconsistencies in and around cards beggars belief

Hes older now but Leitch still looks like he could have slotted into the ABs for leadership qualities alone.

Based on this performance I can see Japan beating Argentina and going through
 -

no its consistent..... consistently inconsistent..... just a farking mess -literally brings game in to disrepute..
Not for one moment am I defending the head contacts - but I struggle to see how they consistently fark it up

Jonker the Plonker strikes again. No consistency across the games.
Jonker is not the bunker ref. If you’re going to give out at least know how the system works.

@Stargazer you and me both

I really don't understand how Horie's card stayed yellow, but Lam's gets upgraded to red. IMO both should have received red.
I do, and I am not condoning it. There was a slight dip in Horie's case, head to head. Lam's was a straight shoulder to head with a higher degree of danger.

It has to come back to the human factor -- unconscious bias vs conscious bias.... I personally think there is a bit of both at play...
Remember its only a few weeks ago Farrell got down graded .......and then consider some of the non-citing's ...... Its a bloody mess
