Huge ramifications for Welsh rugby ,what is this commentator on ?
Its not as if you have beaten a top 5 team ..

But as others have mentioned we’ve given ourselves a fighting chance at the next RWC

A loss yesterday would have consigned us to where Welsh football was for over 50 years

Unable to make the Euros or World Cup because we were the third ranked team in the group and the other 2 of 3 teams were of our standard

Wales blew so many good chances and didn’t utilise our best strengths - LRZ - but there is already improvement in just two matches

In two years time we will be giving Top 5 sides a fucking good game

Thought Mann had another great match and whilst he’s no Jac Morgan cemented his place in the back row

    Tomos is rocks & diamonds

Best game I’ve seen from Dan Edwards

But I still prefer Jarrod Evans

Nails to kick that penalty to win the match

Adams can be put out to pasture now

    Dumb, dumb, dumb

We’re going to get well beaten the next two matches

The key is to do what we’re trying to do better, with more accuracy

If we can score 3-4 tries against both NZ and SA by opening them up then the rest of it will fall in to place

Japan have gone backwards. Eddie Jones is a friggen charlatan. I just needed to say that.

I can't believe he keeps getting coaching gigs. No wonder he always has that shit eating smirk on his mug.

Really we should have won that in a canter.

Tries rubbed out in the first half - the maul being called correctly only when the TMO jumps in - and a fair few brain farts when we had the ball in the red zone

    Bigger, stronger, faster

Fingers crossed the NFL have rebuilt him

Odd that his stance with Aussie the second time around was so different.

I'm going with some form of undiagnosed brain worms.

Eddie might. be like John Hart, a large part of their coaching identity to them, deriving from being the ideas guy, continually, and exacerbated as they age. With Eddie, and I'm only guessing, he may have created such turmoil and competition that it eventually alienated senior players (when coaching England?) For Australia, he seemed obsessed with off-field stats.
I complained a lot about early Foster ABs lacking innovation, but OTOH I was impressed by how Farrell kept the Schmidt Irish rugby machine but improved around the edges.

One thing that impressed me with Reihana was his passing - he had a nice mix of different types of passes and his timing and accuracy of those passes was for the most part top notch.

Yeah after reading all about his sloppy passing in the SR finals, I was pretty surprised to see silky passing of various lengths, bang on target.

I haven’t seen the game so it's good to hear, but we also need to take the opposition into account. If his passing was found wanting last night I would have been disappointed no matter what he did during the Super season.

    Some people.

You don't think opposition should be taken into account?

    Definitely not.

    Why not?

Farrell is English isn't he? Might be a good coach for England. Ireland are apparently so good they don't need one.

Very little territory, and when the MAB did they coughed up the ball. Forbes had a shocker.

The conditions must have been difficult as Sullivan was subbed due to heatstroke.

I may have confused which incident you were talking about to be fair. I thought you were talking about the yellow not being upgraded. Apologies

    No apologies needed

I thought the TMO was good but let himself down by not upgrading the YC to RC

You've informed me that the TMO doesn't make that decision, which I didn't know

So I guess what we're saying is 'Hitler' in his bunker fucked up but Jaco and the TMO had a great match

A win is a win but it was more a poor performance from the Japanese than a great English one. The game against Samoa should be interesting.

Undoubtedly. We’ve been lucky two games in a row now. I’d hope that we have learned some lessons around keeping the ball in hand and in particular not kicking away possession in an attacking position. I am not holding my breath.

Disappointing campaign for Japan. Lucky to get away with victory against Tonga, lost to a very underdone Samoa side and now completely done by Fiji, and they didn't even have to travel out of Japan for any games. I'd expect a lot better from them with all their resources available and how long they've been together for. They were lucky it was as close as it was against Fiji.

Could have and should have won even with 14 men

    That better?

    In possession, under little pressure

Perfect position and opportunity for a drop goal for the win

Harmon certainly missed a chance to impress

The heat made the game stop and start. Not much phase play for him to make an impact

Did they ever say what his injury was?
