Forget the analysis, forget the X’s and O’s, forget who got selected and who didn’t. The way we defended at the end showed what it means to be an All Black. Everything on the line for a do or die match. We were focused and we played for each other.
The irish really fell off. Didn't ask many questions - just static straight running - quite disappointing.

Conor and Jonny looked like shadows of their former selvesSexton's chip kick to nothing showed he'd run out of ideas - Ireland has that second man play, and depend on ruck dominance. We did extremely well making dominating tackles that took it away from them at opportune times.

30+ phases after 78 minutes of playing and Ireland were at a standstill. Was great to see us not chasing the game and then defending for our RWC lives.

2/2 SH over NH so far. Come on SA ... could still be 3/4 in the Semis, despite the poor performances over the last 4 years

Yeah, that Aaron Smith yellow was pretty dubious, but we won it despite the ref and his crew.

Actually, it was ironically an advantage because it gave Smith a 10 min rest.

An amazing game by them to come back and then played with their disciplined attack.
Also an amazing run of wins for this team.

@sparky that was one of the reasons I was happy with ALB in the mix. He's accurate af and put in some great shots when they were needed.
