We have to give Ryan some credit, our protection of ruck ball was the best for a long time, I don’t think Ireland got that many turnover penalties but we got heaps.

The forwards were incredible tonight. Was absolutely night and day compared to the past 4 years. Don't have the cattle? Fucking bullshit.

We had all the right people on at the end.
Cane had played himself to an absolute standstill. Was huge. So Dalts fresh legs with all those defensive rucks was important.

Can I just point out, people criticising McLeod, but look at the amount of breakdown turnovers we won. That was a result of excellent structure.

Agree. Our defence structure was awesome - even with some missed tackles by individuals.

When you choose the game there are normally 2 live options. One will have small white text stating it has NZ Coverage.

Everyone stepped up. BBBR, Frizzell, BB, Ardie. Reiko was outstanding in defence and has grown hugely in the last year.
Cane was better than them all though - great leadership, outstanding tackling and brilliant at the breakdown.
