@kiwiinmelb guess we will see once the team is named, but surely we have become accustomed to Fozzie throwing selection curveballs?

@kiwiinmelb i think if he was...and we lose....then we'll find a way to make it at least partially his fault

Well there is a team going around that has Lester replacing Telea , but that is partly injury based,

But also has Christie on the bench ,

just repeating whats going around , im just the messenger, dont shoot me

It's a bit more like supporting the Black Caps, we know we have the players that can beat anyone on their day, and by fuck it'd be funny if we knocked the #1 team out of the tournament, but we probably won't. But that chance gives the game some added excitement.

@kiwiinmelb yep, Foz been playing the loooooooooong game, all coming down to this moment...almost blew it last year, but got the boys up in SA to steady the ship, then returned to the hustle...

@kiwiinmelb it might be cliched, but pressure thier 9-10 channel you will make huge inroads to upsetting thier attaack, which in turn will put pressure on the defence.

@Dan54 TBH I think most have come to expect we will bow out this weekend, Team Fozzie have certainly lowered the bar, and I think for whatever reason, this has allowed the edge to be taken off the team.

Hopefully being in camp for weeks now has galvanised them, pressure for spots as well, will give them a bit of urgency and desire

Honestly, it's their phase play that's the really dangerous weapon. Sexton very rarely gets involved apart from directing. JGP is the lynchpin there and without their phase play they're just SA lite.

i think a Stuff poll where over 40% are picking the ABs to lose would be considered very pragmatic i reckon

in fact that's pretty bloody close to our own TSF poll. A forum packed to the rafters with people who think we fucking suck

@Machpants Friday our time or Friday Fozzie time?

Wasn't there a period where it was consistently named on a Thursday, hence the old "when's the team named"

A clip of the training on TV had Lomax running freely, didn't appear to have a limp and leg seems to knly be lightly strapped, so that is promising.
