All hail King Telea, made that try!

NZ defence is great again. Disciplined and contesting every ruck. When we get the ball, Mounga is giving them kittens. Barrett is also so good at 12 because he offers not only a physical threat but also a passing and jinking threat. Tight five are doing a fab job cleaning out rucks. We got this!

How’s the atmosphere at the ground?

It’s actually pretty good. There are a decent number of kiwis there, also argies then a mix of all nationalities. Even a few AB AB chants. Along with allez les bleus, Fields of Athenry (the poor buggers) and whatever the argie chant it. We even came across mad keen rugby fans from Germany. I think crowd just enjoying the spectacle despite the result starting to become clear.

A quick try after HT will enable me to get on with my life. Until then I get flashbacks to 99.

That's a good half. The defence is so good. Patient, thrn there is a rush once the runner is identified. It's frustrating the Pumas in to grubber kicks

On attack we're not as direct as.last week, but still lots of phases, and thr Mo'unga Jordie Reiko axis looks so good

Problem, as always, is we keep inviting Argentina back because we either can't kick far enough, or contest our kicks.

        We're in a good spot

The BB- RMo fullback covering combination is working like a dream too

This All Black team misses a left-footed kicking option... not that there is anyone viable to fix that without major tradeoffs in weakening the attack.

I would love to see the stats on average exit distance by team. I suspect it would be a very telling stat.

Surely we can get someone in to teach our guys to long punt?

Kick short and into the field, to let them attack us deep with ease. Genius!

Obviously been said 1 trillion times but this kicking will be the death of us. These bombs are absolutely useless. Every other team seems to weight them well enough to contest but we just hand the pill back.

@Victor-Meldrew yea it has been happening for too long and 'consistently' with all our kickers for it not to be, surely...right?

Some of them might be, but the first kick by both Beaudie and Jordie were just poor execution. I get the ones that are under pressure etc, but set buggers should be hoofed down field, not rugby league 20 metres on the fly touch finders

I think we kick short to stop the opposition winding up with momentum. Same reason teams don't do long line dropouts. Easier to keep the defensive line in shape that way.
