Highlanders with an early lead for a change!
there are definitely other teams i have a soft spot for, as you say the drua is one and after years in melbourne i am growing a soft spot for the rebels just because i now know people that have been involved with them at different levels

Generally depends on the composition of the team and the coach. I've never really had anything against the Chiefs but very much enjoyed their losing streak when Gatland was coach.
I was in absolute awe of the Blues in the early days and 2003.

Theres a really cool team in the capital. Jonah, Cully and Tana used to play for them. Bull was the captain. JC and Rodders ran around for a bit too. What about them ?

@mariner4life look I admit my dislike for the Chiefs has changed over time. They used to be my second hatiest team behind the Waratahs, but now they hold that honour

I’ve never had a second team. I tend to support certain players from other teams and like seeing them play well.

Blues first , Chiefs second , lived in both regions as a kid ( well auckland and counties )
But not that heavily invested where i dislike any of the kiwi teams or players ,
Allblacks doing well is number 1 priority above all else and dont care where the players come from
