The Warriors need a hard reset.

Our attack has gone to shit. Linebreaks are non-existent, but our completion rates are awesome. We're back to that shit we played under Nathan Brown. Last year a strength was the complete faith in the process. This year it's a weakness because when it's not working, we're not trying anything else until we are chasing the game.

SJ isn't challenging the line enough, our sweep plays involve too much lateral running, and teams are just sliding. I am not sure of the stats, but i feel like our wingers score the smallest percentage of our tries in the league.
We're rubbishing Montoya, but he gets no ball in attack, gets no balls kicked to his wing, he's basically there to cart the ball out of our own end. We have no plan to get Roger in space, and to be fair, he doesn't look like taking the outside shoulder and putting a winger away.
Dallin is Dallin, rocks and diamonds. But there aren't many diamonds as he is starved of opportunity.
TMM is a waste of space. Harris is digging in to the line, but too often his pass is too deep, and the opposition knows it's coming.
I am fucking sick of the same set being played over and over for no result. Great plan if you have Penrith's defence and discipline. You get rewards. We can't force errors or jam a team in their own end. And then we'll give away a late penalty.

Webster needs to take a step back and have a look, i reckon we need the bye desperately for a reset. If every game looks exactly the same, it has to be by design.

@mariner4life SJ has an achilles problem which I presume is impacting him challenging the line. Montoya and DWZ still have a job to do which both can do extremely well, but a combination of trying to hard and in some cases not trusting their inside man on defence have been worse of late.
I dont mind the process that gets us down to the other end of the field, but our options in the red zone are so easy to read (until as you say our backs are against the wall)
Anyway, not making excuse for them and I don't disagree though with most of your observations, probably a bit harsh on TMM, he even had a new edge forward that he hadnt worked with either

I doubt it would've taken much goading. He's an angry man that's making his own life difficult. And I'm certain this won't be the last as people become emboldened after watching a pissy 54 year old demonstrate his prowess.

Usually I don't like wishing bad things upon people and try to look at both sides of the story, but not with Paul Kent. One of the biggest hypocrites society has ever seen. This has made my day.

so obviously the highlight of the weekend was Paul Kent getting NRL360-ed in to a tree, but football happened as well

We had the Dragons and Souths eliminated from Premiership contention on ANZAC day
Friday night the Eels were balls deep in teh game until Mika Sivo decided, for some ungodly reason, to drop the NAS forearm in to the face of one of the most unassuming guys in the comp, gets a deserved 10 (but no suspension??) and Manly immediately score 2 tries exactly where he would be standing on defence (beautifully, both scored by Garrick). Who would be a coach?
Brisbane destroyed the Tigers then clocked off early
Penrith's best player this season continues to be the opposition losing a centre early
The Knights got a much needed win, and then lol at Canberra getting absolutely flogged by the Sharks, who just might have learned some lessons from last year.

The media are gunning for two coaches this week, so we'll see where the focus goes.

Kent under a tree was great entertainment and definitely the highlight

Warriors continue to play a template game with errors that others have worked out
Roosters roster officially shows up.
Parra have another brain snap when in a game, but their teenage halfback not to blame. Another team (this time Raiders) loses their half back and like Parra last few weeks the whole team seemingly capitulates.

Sharks going great, but reminds me of previous seasons, then Hynes fucked around and looks awful at Origin and their season falls away

Agree @mariner4life a few coaches in the coaching roulette spotlight this week..we all know fox won't focus on Kent, nor their best mate Ricky so one of the others will be the main story

Dudes coming off the back fence in to 3 guys as hard as they can is one of the best things in rugby league
"but concussion" the fannies will wail. They are front rowers, they barely have functioning brains anyway.
Let the boys bash each other FFS! Rugby league is supposed to be hard and confrontational. Let union trash their sport to try and stave off the lawyers, leave rugba leeeg alone.

I also can't work out exactly how they fuck you legislate against it. Don't kick off? don't run the ball?

This has to be my most hated proposed rule change right now. Iafeta Paleaaesina will be truly upset hearing about this!

If Suli doesn't get hit by his own player in the attempted group shoulder charge then this doesn't get air time again..

At this rate, next up will be a fullback returning a deep kick based on the long run up logic

What are they considering changing the rule to?

I had a google and all I could find was talk of banning 'long kickoffs'. I presume this would be kickoffs and drop outs? If you kick too far you get penalised somehow?

the other way to look at it is, along with Manu, Suaalii, JWH and probably Tupou and Crichton frees up anywhere from $3-$4 million in their cap for next year.
