@Chris On a similar topic - do you think it was the right call to play Chapman over Neesham last night?

Jimmy is on his way out - but, I think he was more likely to hit 30 off 10 balls than Chapman - if that was what was needed, and it was always likely to be.

Neesh will go down as a real unfulfilled talent for me.

I thought he had the potential to be one of the world’s top all rounders.

yep fair call there I think, he just didn't quite get there.

Seemed like he had the potential to be a rich man's Jacob Oram. Didn't kick on. A bit like that other guy we used to have who came out firing early in his career, bowled frisky medium pace and big hitter in the lower order. I can't remember his name but he had some big games including smashing a bunch of 6s in an ODI in Qtown years ago

    Corey Anderson ?

    Whatever happened to him?

he retired due to a lot of injuries he is now is playing in the USA I think he has qualified for them now he is only 32.he had a couple of IPL contracts in 2014 I think then in 2018 or 2019 I can not remember exactly.

    That makes absolutely no sense

Yeah I edited it champ read it again, I am running a training session in 32 degree heat and trying to post Heat stupidity setting in.

it is worth noting that while our attack hasn't been awesome, India's amazing attack in the best of their own conditions gave up 327
And what i would consider a great attack in Australia's has given up 306, 291, 383, 305, and 311 in this tournament alone.
Not a great tournament to be a bowler (unless you are Indian right up to last night).

I made this same point a few posts back.

Seems it’s easier to criticize than give credit.

I sweated a river if that helps, but since you are concerned I am heading in side to write some high performance reports and go through some video analysis.

But before that I might jump in to the recovery pool the Qld Firebirds netball WTG girls are doing a pool recovery session.

Some big names who have been hit harder than Santner, Boult, Ferg and Henry.

Not Jimmy though - to be fair he only bowled this much because Henry broke down vs SA and he had to bowl at the death.

And Timmy doesn't have anyone who's bowled more overs than him, behind him. To be fair, he only played the latter part of the comp, so mainly played the best teams.
