another sad indictment that the best option (the only?) we had when adidas didn;t renew was someone that would generally give prety off the shelf templates (Baring the chiefs because they're the only team with a true design language)...and couldnt deliver one of the big selling points
maybe its time for each franchise to do their own kits deals, might have been easier for one of the companies to only do one or two teams

Makes sense they would get a better deal for all 5 rather than individually

@Machpants im not sure its that simple as even at club level we have brands that will do us better deal just snag the deal off of one of the other brands, surely Dynasty or gilbert would have been down to have one or two of them
if true though it shows how route one their thinking is, it stops as how much they pay per unit...and not the quality of the product or the level of design effort they going to put in....and how those things might actually result in more sales

The jerseys weren't ready. Adidas apparently made it very hard as the pulled out at the very last minute.

im kind of hoping this is just the start of moe regular changes so we see different takes, still waiting for one of the NZ teams to lock in a design language (stripes, hoops, quarters or the brumbies deal) rather than just a colour

Anyone have any idea of when the Hurricanes will wear their heritage jersey? I'd assume it will be against the Blues next Saturday considering that was the first ever Super match played.
In saying that it would also be cool if the Canes wore this at a home game.

@Yeetyaah why can't they be this creative with the normal jerseys. The normal jerseys are so meh compared to these. Love the Highlanders one and I'm definitely buying a Canes jersey from Lambton Quay on Wednesday.

cool just seeing stripes (even before we get the "tartan")....you know....like a rugby jersey
I always said we should have more gold on our jerseys, only clashes with the canes...and it is the common colour between North Otago, Otago and Southland....god i'd love to see a Harlequin jersey, two Gold and one each of Blue and Maroon
