@canefan this is true. I’ve got Jonah Lomu’s 2000 Hurricane’s jersey signed and framed in my house. Will never sell it. The only sports memorabilia I have.

I am surprised that the heritage jerseys aren't more expensive than the replica jerseys.

I'm a bit disappointed that the Canes have gone with the current yellow and not the gold yellow from the original. In the teaser the jersey looked more gold.

That Landers jersey is - great details on the collar and a great design

@Canes4life yeah, only critique of the Highlanders one ive really seen is how dark the blue is....not the original

The sponsor's logos seem to get bigger with every new design.

Am I the only one not getting excited by heritage jerseys? Probably because I hated the "new" super jerseys back in 1996. Rugby jerseys should either be stripes or plain.

@Nepia as is your prerogative, i dont buy into the "you have to get or even like every jersey" buy the ones you like...leave the others, that why i like it when they do things like heritage jerseys or the like...there is something for everyone

that is the interesting thing though, i see these, apart from the upper chest i guess, as being much closer to a traditional jersey, we have tripes (theyre borderline ugly) and a proper collar...as opposed to what weve seen from adidas and classic so far to date where theyve basically been t-shirts of block colours by and large

Why would that matter? I dislike the Canes and the Chiefs heritage jerseys. I'd take your avatars jersey over either teams even though I assume it's an Auckland one (looks dark enough to be a Pies one )?

the more i think about it the weirder it feels for the chief to have done 96 when everyone else has done 97-99...even more so seeing they did the same one only3-4 years ago

how come the chiefs were the only one to put out a heritage jersey that year....and why do it again...is their 97-99 not popular or something?

@Yeetyaah will have to remind me, but IIRC the 97-98 Chiefs jersey had maroon as NH (and Northland) were still part of the franchise.

As I have the Adidas Chiefs heritage jersey I have no use for the Classic version.
