2024 Super Rugby jerseys

@frugby ive thought about that...what would it be? a blue jersey....but they cant do 3 stripes over the shoulders because thats adidas copyright/trademark so we'd have to do two or four stripes...barely iconic
I think we wont get alot of these heritage jerseys as there just arent that many iconic designs....i hope that they come up with some iconic designs

NZR would never do it, but maybe they could go full Stade de Francais style and feature each of the various feeder provinces, either one at a time or mixed together

NZR would never do it, but maybe they could go full Stade de Francais style and feature each of the various feeder provinces, either one at a time or mixed together
@canefan probably not, but we can dream and it seems an easy way to engage with those areas "hey look, we're your team"..hell throw in the odd game (pre season) played locally wearing a kit inspired by the local union

Some banger training kit from the 90s too and they was used in pre season games I have a couple from 96 and 97 that were used in pre season . Though they probably won't go for it.

I'm hoping that we'll get a range of singlets - the Chiefs singlet is basically the same every year so I haven't bought one in forever (I have like four of them, and four pairs of shorts for running).

Would really like to see the Highlanders just abandon the normal home jersey and we just wear the retro kit for the rest of the year. For starters, it is simply a better kit that the players and fans love... and of course we have a 100% win rate in it!

Another example of how rugby is still stuck in the amateur mindset. Let's have a heritage round and have all of the teams in their retro jerseys coz that will be cool, oh wait
@canefan yeah case in point last night, you’d think the Canes would have negotiated so that they would wear their heritage jersey against the Blues. If they wear it against Moana it would hold no meaning at all. Maybe they’ll wear it against the Chiefs the following week or against the Highlanders at home in the last round robin game.

@canefan heritage round is the final round.
I've heard some insider knowledge from the Chiefs though, apparently the heritage kit is retail only and the team won't be taking the field in it
