Nice of them to point out where some of our players were born. Can only assume the Welsh team are entirely Welsh born and bred.

      Ha indeed. I can understand mentioning Naholo's origin but when you have a very limited number of words it just seems weird to dedicate a bunch to Kaino's birthplace.

        This was the worst rugby read i've had in a while.

Faletau better than Read? :::::::D
in all honesty Faletau is a very good player in his own right but Read is one of the most complete players running around and undisputedly the best number 8 in the world.

The article is poor- but I don't mind Read's rating too much. They point out he hasn't been at the peak of his powers in the past year, which is accurate. I would take Read over Faletau all day knowing his ceiling and the extenuating factors over the past 18 months - but if you are wanting to write an article like this 8 is a fair rating.

Faletau having the same rating as Ben Smith & Brodie Rettalick is what is laughable.

interesting that they believe we have the two worst players on the field in Crotty and Romano (6), and no Welsh players are rated lower than a 7.

I think Read is back to close to his best, Rotated - he's looked much better this Super season than he did last year. I'm afraid I don't watch NH rugby, so I've no idea about Faletau - or many of the other Welsh for that matter. I shall watch this Faletau fellow with interest, though! :)

Against the other ABs, I'd give Crotty, Romano and Cane an extra point and given that everyone is now in a three point band (7-9) I'd give half-points to Read and Kaino and probably subtract half points from Moody, Fekitoa and Savea.

some betting advice from the lads plox. I am tempted to go Wales +18.5 given how shakey we always are early doors in the international season...I can see us winning but I can also see some handling errors and guys getting things wrong at the breakdown etc limiting the victory margin...any comments?

                                      I wouldn't worry about anything Andy Howell says in the Welsh media, he doesn't have the best reputation over here.
I'm going for a score of :
NZ 36-12 Wales
From a Welsh perspective I hope we can give you a decent run out. Need our big players to step up to the plate & perform.
