@Canerbry honestly I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a disfunctional Saders side. It’s bloody odd.

Razor seems to have that Klopp quality how he takes average/good players and makes them look great in his system. And once they leave Klopp's side to go play elsewhere they suffer what looks like a shocking drop-off in form but in reality they just finally play to their actual level.

Matt Dunning makes sure the Tahs don't make the finals.

Tahs have won 3 of the last 4 against the Crusaders

In the last five years it’s 4 Tahs wins out of 7 matches

We are playing some dumb arse rugby this season.
Sure we have lost a few great players but there is enough SR experience in that side to still be playing much better.
The Crusaders need to flush Penny and a few players who are not going to add much .
Build the team again next year they still have a decent base to build on to.

Find a top coach and the rest should (maybe slowly) fall into place. And Ellison isn't a top head coach. Good assistant but that's all.

I hope the Crusaders have a few lean years. One team always winning is boring

It is boring for the Losers.
We will be back not this year but by 2026.

Crusaders are less than the sum of their parts. Coaching staff problem. Blackadder and Reece were bloody good though. Have been a constant Grace supporter but this year hasn't brought the biscuits.

Two B grade sides that have porous defence, make far too many mistakes and threw it around a bit.

Even if we won that, it still would’ve been a poor game.

Missing a decent 10 that can steer the team around. Plus we’ve had quality experience which you need around those average players to get the most out of them. And without Barrett or Whitelock or Mo’unga, we haven’t got much out there.

How can some one, taking a kick get told by the ref 'you can run the clock out' take the kick before the clock runs out??????????????????????????????????

I still really don't understand the utter moronitude of that

@Canes4life could hear ref say right before kick, he needed to make the shot clock, not leaving him much time to kick it over. I'd be blaming the restart and intercept that lead to the penalty

Cullen Grace to Blues fans is what Akira Ioane was to Crusaders fans circa 2019 haha.

Was that pass from Reece on the inside when he was going out in the lead up to the Lio Willie try not forward?

Good game that, the Tahs have been in some great contests this year. We'll played both sides.

After watching game , I went to nbed thinking I had just watched a couple of bog standard teams play, and the game's saving grace was score alternating. For Crusaders Reece was full energy bunny, but generally apart from maybe Hannah ,I didn't think any really put hand up. Have to agree with @DaGrubster ,I not sure Grace looks test class, good in lineouts, but fairly average apart from that? Backline just seem flat as f*** to me, headless chooks at time. Defence quite optional.
Tahs deserved win, but were hardly a real good team either!

What is the actual law on restart after scoring. Had a quick flick through the laws on line but gave up.

Just further to the above, in the men's 7s last week France tried to forfeit the conversion in order to allow the restart. (But ref ruled try was scored after the hooter.)
